  This walking tour includes food and beverage tasting at a number of restaurants in downtown Avalon showcasing various types of cuisine available while on Santa Catalina Island. Of course some of the restaurants are better than others... it all depends on your individual taste in food. An added bonus to the tour is the history and personal insight presented through photos and stories by the guide. The photos are neatly arranged so they can be shown to the visitors on the tour in the order of the walking views of the city. The walk is very easy with a few stairs at some of the restaurants, but no hard walking or hills. Over the course of the restaurant visits tourists joining this tour will have a chance to taste enough food to feel not only happy and informed, but like they have had a nice lunch as well. The tour guide is able to accommodate those with food or drink restrictions including vegan, no sea food, non alcoholic beverages etc. (We were one of those needing some accommodation with the tour menu and there was no problem at all - great personalization!!!) The history information is well organized and presented right along with the food tasting and walking, making this tour well worth the time for any visitor to Avalon and Catalina Island, especially those who are visiting Catalina Island for the first time!

  We visit Catalina Island once a year but have never done a food tour. After this experience I wish we had done it sooner. We had the best time! Our group was amazing and the Food Tour Guide - can I just tell you about her? Her name is Lili and she was the absolute best. She made that food tour what it was. I couldn't imagine having anyone else!! Lili was hilarious and informative all at the same time! Will definitely recommended this tour to our friends and family.Thanks for a great time! I am looking forward to trying more of your food tours
